Cereal and Malt-Extract (Pty) Ltd has recently embarked on a journey of technological advancement.
The germination facility previously used for malting barley has since undergone a full on upgrade on building design and technology to meet our hygiene standards and quality of malted grains; barley and sorghum malt. The upgraded germination facility has control over air flow and temperature leading to better quality of grain.
The design features of the box complements our food safety certification FSSC 22000, which was achieved in 2016.
Our latest technological innovation leads the purchase of a new mill, which is dedicated to rice flour milling which assists with a gluten free product. The design complies to food hygiene and yet again complements our FSSC 22000 certification.
